Amazon Expands Military Recruitment Efforts

Supporting Veterans and Military Members

Commitment to Hiring Over 100,000 Veterans by 2025

Amazon has announced a significant expansion of its military recruitment initiatives, pledging to hire over 100,000 veterans and military spouses by 2025. This bold pledge builds on Amazon's existing commitment to supporting veterans and military communities.

The Amazon Military Recruitment Team is dedicated to identifying and supporting veterans and military members. The team matches active duty service members with Amazon based on their skills and preferences for a 12-week fellowship program. Amazon also offers a variety of other military-focused programs, including the Amazon Career Choice program, which provides financial assistance to military members who are pursuing higher education.

Amazon's commitment to supporting veterans is reflected in the company's recent announcement that it will pledge $10 million to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs' (VA) Homeless Veteran Reintegration Program. This program provides funding to organizations that work to prevent and end homelessness among veterans.
