Boston Celtics Win NBA Finals Game 1 Against Dallas Mavericks

107-89 Final Score

Jayson Tatum Leads Celtics with 32 Points

The Boston Celtics defeated the Dallas Mavericks 107-89 in Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday night. Jayson Tatum led the way for the Celtics with 32 points, while Luka Doncic had a triple-double of 32 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists for the Mavericks.

The Celtics jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, leading by as many as 28 points in the second half. Tatum was efficient from the field, shooting 12-of-20, and he also had eight rebounds and five assists.

Doncic was the only bright spot for the Mavericks, as he became the first player in NBA Finals history to record a triple-double in the first two games of the series. However, he did not get much help from his teammates, as no other Mavericks player scored more than 14 points.

The Celtics now have a 1-0 lead in the series, and they will look to take a 2-0 lead when they host Game 2 on Sunday night.
