Dallas Mavericks Overcome 17-Point Deficit to Advance to Western Conference Finals

Unstoppable Mavericks Rally Past Thunder

Mavs Surge from Behind for Stunning Victory

The Dallas Mavericks showcased their resilience on Tuesday night, battling back from a 17-point deficit to defeat the Oklahoma City Thunder 117-116 and advance to the Western Conference Finals.

Trailing by as many as 19 points in the third quarter, the Mavericks refused to surrender. Led by a late-game push from Luka Doncic, they chipped away at the Thunder's lead before eventually taking control in the final minutes.

Doncic finished with a game-high 31 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists, orchestrating the Mavericks' offense and making clutch plays down the stretch. Spencer Dinwiddie also contributed with 26 points and 6 assists, while Jalen Brunson added 24 points.

The Thunder, who had dominated the Mavericks in the first half, were unable to sustain their momentum in the second half. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 30 points, but it was not enough to overcome the Mavericks' surge.

With the victory, the Mavericks advanced to the Western Conference Finals for the first time since 2011. They will now face the Phoenix Suns, who defeated the Denver Nuggets in the other Western Conference semifinal series.
