The United States Golf Association (USGA) announced on Tuesday that Pine Valley Golf Club in Clementon, New Jersey, will host the 2023 Curtis Cup Match, the biennial women's amateur golf competition between the United States and Great Britain and Ireland.

The event will be held from June 28 - July 2, 2023, and will mark the first time the Curtis Cup has been played at Pine Valley since 1958.

Pine Valley is widely considered to be one of the most challenging and prestigious golf courses in the world. It was founded in 1913 and has hosted numerous major championships, including the U.S. Open (1936), the PGA Championship (1962), and the Ryder Cup (1971).

  • The Curtis Cup was first played in 1932 and has been held every two years since then, except for during World War II.
  • The United States has won the Curtis Cup 31 times, while Great Britain and Ireland has won eight times.
  • The two teams tied in 1958, when the event was last played at Pine Valley.

The 2023 Curtis Cup will be the 43rd edition of the event. It will be the first time the event has been held in the United States since 2016.
