The Simple Life originally aired from 2003 to 2007 and documented the adventures of Hilton and Richie as they swapped their luxurious lifestyles for more modest surroundings. The reboot promises to bring the same mix of comedy, drama, and unexpected situations that made the original show a fan favorite.

In the new series, Hilton and Richie will once again be tasked with completing a variety of challenges and jobs outside of their comfort zones. The first episode shows them working at a Sonic Drive-In, complete with roller skates and headsets.
